Here's a tasty vegetarian appetizer option that even the most discerning wing lover will want to try. Lightly breaded cauliflower with a spicy kick.
Preparation Instructions:
Step 1
Preheat fryer to 350°F.
Step 2
Whisk together eggs and water. Set up breading station, from left to right, with cauliflower, seasoned flour, beaten egg and panko crumbs. Using standard breading procedure, dip cauliflower pieces in the seasoned flour, then egg and coat with panko crumbs, place into fryer and cook for 2 1/2 minutes. Drain and toss in a large stainless bowl with a thin coating of the Korean chili oil.
Step 3
While cauliflower is frying, melt butter in a sauté pan, add edamame and cook according to package directions. To serve; layer edamame on plate, top with cauliflower and garnish with sriracha mayonnaise.
