Thanksgiving Sweet Potato Poutine
Give the fastest-growing fry application some seasonal flavor with this Sweet Potato-based poutine.

Milk | 1 cup | |
White onions, sliced thin | 2 each | |
Whole muscle turkey breast, cooked, sliced, and hot | 2 lbs. | |
Cranberry sauce | 12 oz. | |
Turkey gravy (Knoor or other brand) | 3 cups |
Preparation Instructions:
Step 1
Preheat fryer to 350°F. In a medium-sized bowl add the flour, salt and paprika. In a different bowl add the milk and sliced onions. Wet onions in milk, then transfer the onions (still wet) to flour mixture. Toss to coat evenly
Step 2
Shake off excess flour and fry onions for 2 minutes. Reserve in paper towel-lined bowl.
Step 3
Prepare sweet potato fries according to package instructions. Divide into 12 servings.
Step 4
For each serving; plate 2.5 oz. of sliced hot turkey, 1 oz. cranberry sauce and 2 oz. turkey gravy. Garnish with crispy fried onions. Serve hot.
