Puff Pastry and Fuji Apples with Honey and Lavender

A light dessert combining the crispy texture of puff pastry topped with sweet, flame-roasted apples, a whisper of honey and a touch of lavender. Light, sweet and beautiful. What a great ending to any meal.

Preparation Instructions:
Step 1
Preheat convection oven to 400˚F.
Step 2
Melt butter in a large sauté' pan. Add apples and sauté until cooked through. Set aside, warmed. Bake puff pastry squares in a 400°F convection oven 10-15 minutes, until puffed and lightly browned. Set aside.
Step 3
For each serving, split a puff pasty square in half. Place bottom half onto a serving plate. Top with 2 oz. warm apples. Drizzle with .25 oz. honey. Place top half of puff pastry on plate at an angle. Garnish with lavender flowers.
