Made with either hot dogs or mozzarella sticks, coated in a light batter and shredded hash browns, then fried to golden brown perfection—this portable Korean treat makes the perfect snack or appetizer!
Preparation Instructions:
Step 1
Skewer hotdogs or mozzarella sticks onto chop sticks or skewers. Set aside under refrigeration.
Step 2
Combine pancake mix, eggs and water together in a large, low-walled container to make the batter. Mix thoroughly. Adjust liquid to reach a thick, heavy batter. Place hash browns in another low-walled container, and the panko in a small bowl.
Step 3
Roll the skewered hotdogs or mozzarella sticks in the batter until covered. Then, roll and pat the hashbrowns into the batter of each skewer to coat and sprinkle with panko. Fry each skewer in a 350°F deep fryer until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the outside is browned and crispy. Drain and serve hot.
