Hearty Grains, Mushrooms and Braised Short Ribs Bowl

Comfort food with a Middle Eastern twist—hearty grains, mushrooms, and short ribs paired with creamy labneh and spicy Skhug sauce. This bowl will have them coming back again and again.
Preparation Instructions:
Step 1
Melt butter in sauté pan over medium heat. Add mushrooms and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring as needed until tender. Prepare grain blend according to package instructions and blend with mushrooms. Hold hot.
Step 2
In a bowl toss together arugula and 2 tsp. olive oil. Season with salt. Set aside, chilled.
Step 3
For each serving; place 8 oz. (1 cup) grain blend in a serving bowl. Top with 3 oz. short ribs, 1 oz. labneh or yogurt, 1/2 fl. oz. Skhug sauce, 1/2 oz. seasoned arugula and 2 pieces of toasted pita.
