This tasty plate features crispy orange chicken paired with rice and veggies—similar to a familiar takeout meal that kids love—but without all the extra sodium and fat.
Preparation Instructions:
Step 1
Prepare Kyoto blend. Pour one bag of vegetables into a 2-inch perforated pan. Steam for about 7 minutes.
Step 2
Prepare fried rice. Pour one bag of rice on to a full-size sheet pan. Heat in combi oven at 350°F with 70% team. Alternatively, prepare in tilt skillet. Preheat tilt skillet to medium-high. Add rice and cook for 4 minutes, stirring frequently.
Step 3
Prepare Mandarin chicken according to manufacturer's instructions.
Step 4
Serve a #8 disher of Kyoto blend, a #6 disher of fried rice, and a 2 oz. m/ma serving of orange chicken on tray with separate compartments.
