Red Lentil Dhal

A mildly spiced dhal with bite sized vegetables.
Instructions:
Step 1
Cook lentils until soft, drain and set aside.
Step 2
Steam Edgell Bite-Sized Vegetables following packet directions. Set aside.
Step 3
Sauté onion and garlic, add dry spices.
Step 4
Add lentils, cooked vegetables and lemon juice.
Step 5
Simmer for 20 min adding more water if dhal becomes too dry. Serve with steamed rice and raita.
