Salted Caramel Roasted Apple French Toast

Stuffed French Toast with Roasted Fuji Apples Recipe

Sweet indulgence for breakfast or brunch with fluffy cranberry french toast smothered with cream cheese, flame-roasted Fuji apples, and a sweet and salty caramel sauce.

Step 1 French Toast

Milk, whole 12 fl. oz. 1-1/2 cups
Vanilla extract 1-1/2 tsp.
Cinnamon, ground 1/2 tsp.
Nutmeg, ground 1/4 tsp.
Cranberry bread, thinly sliced 12 slices

Cream cheese, softened 12 oz.
Salted caramel sauce 12 fl. oz.
Preparation Instructions:
Step 1
Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a medium bowl. Dip bread in egg mixture, turning to coat both sides evenly.
Step 2
Sauté apples in skillet with butter until heated through. Keep warm.
Step 3
For each serving, cook two slices of bread on lightly greased nonstick griddle or skillet on medium heat until browned on both sides. Spread each slice with 1 oz. of cream cheese. Stack the serving plate with one slice of french toast, 3 oz. of apples, another slice of french toast, 3 more oz. of apples, and drizzle with 2 fl. oz. of caramel sauce.
