Preparation Instructions:
- Step 1
- Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a medium bowl. Dip bread in egg mixture, turning to coat both sides evenly.
- Step 2
- Sauté apples in skillet with butter until heated through. Keep warm.
- Step 3
- For each serving, cook two slices of bread on lightly greased nonstick griddle or skillet on medium heat until browned on both sides. Spread each slice with 1 oz. of cream cheese. Stack the serving plate with one slice of french toast, 3 oz. of apples, another slice of french toast, 3 more oz. of apples, and drizzle with 2 fl. oz. of caramel sauce.
