With its subtle flavor of cumin, this hummus-like spread lends a Middle Eastern flavor wherever it's used.

Lemon juice, freshly squeezed | 1/2 tsp. | |
Red pepper strips, roasted, jarred or canned, drained | 2 oz. | |

Black pepper, ground | as needed |
Preparation Instructions:
Step 1
Thaw avocado pulp according to package instructions.
Step 2
Place beans, avocado pulp, cumin seed, and lemon juice in bowl of food processor. Pulse mixture until fairly smooth.
Step 3
Transfer to medium bowl and stir in red pepper strips. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour. Adjust seasonings as necessary and serve.
