APPLE BREAKFAST BREAD
Ingredients
Flour, all-purpose 16 oz
Craisins, dried cranberries 3 oz
Walnuts, coarsely chopped 2 oz
Baking Soda 1 tsp
Cinnamon, ground 1 tsp
Nutmeg, grated 1 tsp
RoastWorks Fuji Apples, thawed, coarsely chopped 20 oz
Eggs, large 3 each
Butter, melted 8 oz
Brown Sugar 6 1/2 oz
White Sugar 7 1/2 oz
Vanilla Extract 1 Tbsp
Coarse White Sugar 2 oz
Recipe Method
  • Blend flour, Craisins, walnuts, baking soda and spices in a large bowl. Set aside.
  • Mix apples, eggs, butter, white sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  • Stir liquid ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined, being careful not to over mix.
  • Pour batter evenly into two 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans that have been greased.
  • Sprinkle each loaf with one ounce coarse sugar.
  • Bake in a 325° F. convection oven for 40 to 50 minutes or until a cake tester inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
  • Cool loaves before slicing each into 8 pieces.
