| Recipe Method |
Blend flour, Craisins, walnuts, baking soda and spices in a large bowl. Set aside.
Mix apples, eggs, butter, white sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in another bowl.
Stir liquid ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined, being careful not to over mix.
Pour batter evenly into two 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans that have been greased.
Sprinkle each loaf with one ounce coarse sugar.
Bake in a 325° F. convection oven for 40 to 50 minutes or until a cake tester inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
Cool loaves before slicing each into 8 pieces. |
