Indian Broccoli and Chickpea Dal
A flavorful (and spicy) grain and vegetable dish that works perfectly as a vegetarian entrée or as a side dish to grilled protein.

Preparation Instructions:
Step 1
Heat olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, add couscous and vegetable blend, pearl onions and broccoli. Cook until warmed through.
Step 2
Add in chickpeas. Cook until hot. Pour in vegetable broth to deglaze pan and gain thick viscosity.
Step 3
Add in chiles and spices. Simmer until flavors bloom. Adjust seasoning. Garnish with green onion and serve.
